Our journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in the Amsterdam area, as we drive towards Giethoorn, also known as the Dutch Venice. This car-free village is located in the northern part of Overijssel and is only accessible by boat, giving you the opportunity to explore the village by taking a one-hour boat cruise through the picturesque canals. Admire the thatched farmhouses and houses and marvel at the stunning lake created by peat digging, which is only 1 meter deep. After the cruise, take a walk through the village to discover its rich history.

We'll then drive to Zaanse Schans, a neighborhood with historic wooden buildings in the municipality of Zaanstad. Here, you'll be awestruck by the original windmills, which are a well-known tourist destination with hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Take a walk around the area and learn about the traditional Dutch way of life.

Our final stop is Volendam, a charming fishing village that has preserved its character for six centuries. Explore the village and soak in its atmosphere of geniality and romance. The characteristic small houses, canals, and drawbridges create the most picturesque spots, making it a true beauty of Holland.

We'll finish our tour around 19:00 hours as we drop you back to your hotel in the Amsterdam area.

Meals and all other additional expenses are at your own cost. Please plan accordingly and budget for any additional expenses you may incur during your tour. Our team is happy to provide recommendations on local restaurants and activities to enhance your experience in Holland.

• Far Corners EU takes great care in planning and executing our tours, and all tours will be performed as scheduled/planned. However, it is important to note that we cannot be held responsible for any natural or unforeseen circumstances that may impact the tour, including but not limited to weather, traffic delays, road repair work, mechanical issues, or political events. As such, we are unable to provide refunds or optional/future tours in such situations. 
• To ensure a smooth booking experience, we kindly request that you confirm all details at the earliest and provide us with the full names, date of birth, mobile contact, email, and pick-up address of all participants.
• If you need to cancel your booking, please note that a 50% penalty will be deducted if cancellation is made after confirmation and payment transfer, plus €50.00 per booking towards administration and booking costs. We request that cancellations be made at least 10 days before the tour.
• Please note that if you require any additional services beyond the scheduled tour time, an additional charge of €75.00 per hour will be applied.
• When preparing for your trip, it is important to bring appropriate warm clothing such as an umbrella, caps, mufflers, gloves, and warm leggings that are suitable for the weather and the country you will be visiting.
• Additionally, please ensure that you carry your passport or valid ID, along with any necessary EU residence permits/visas.
